A pie-tart press (PTF) is a piece of industrial equipment designed to press or shape food products in circular shapes, up to a diameter of 350 mm.
The PTF has been designed to manufacture pies, pasties and other layered and shortcrust pastry products. Is composed by:
• A press punch;
• Moulds in which the shaped dough is placed;
• Interconnected processes that allow the operator to control the temperature, air pressure and pressing time.
